Hello. I want to use this firmware with a module from aliexpress called YD-RP2040 (vcc-gnd.com), it has an additional button and an RGB diode. The diode is the same as the waveshare RP2040-Zero only on a different port. How to adapt the firmware? I previously tried the firmware pico_fido_pico-5.8.uf2 everything seems to be working, except that you can’t select Upload in the YubiKey Manager in the Applications - Yubico OTP section, I get an error. And I don’t quite understand how to select the mode for generating a random password at the touch of a button. Please help me with any questions.

There is an error through the manager, but if you transfer all the numbers using your link and register manually, this also does not work, until you come up with a shorter serial number, then the check passes.

It is closed because the author clearly described that he cannot support absolutely all Chinese boards, so it says there that you can, at your own peril and risk, remake the code for your own board, possibly created independently. In this case, there is no information where exactly the pins are written in the code, so that they can be changed if they do not correspond to the original ones, you can look for it yourself if someone has the time and desire.

As for this firmware, you should take it as a kind of experimental device and not a full-fledged replacement for Yubico keys. Primarily due to the fact that they do not provide full hardware protection. But for example, they are interesting to me only because of some of the functions of Yubico keys, which specifically work in this firmware, unlike other projects here.

The difference in price between the boards that are officially supported by this project and those Chinese ones that are not on the list is literally a few cents, so if you want a ready-made device, choose from the list that is in the thread at the link above. I wish the project prosperity and expect new opportunities from the author based on 2050, which he announced. And I still lack documentation on the files, functions and code of this project.
