Versions

  • Chrome Version: v109.0.5414.120 (Official Build) (64-bit)
  • Plugin Version: v1.5.2
  • Monitor resolution: 3440x1440
  • Operating System: Windows 10

Expected Behavior

In fullscreen, video is zoomed in and cropped when Crop/Zoom is selected. Aspect ratio is preserved.

Actual Behavior

Regardless of selecting Crop/Zoom or Stretch, image is stretched left to right and squashed top to bottom instead of cropped. FYI - This worked previously, and now seems broken on all similar plugins, so Google/YouTube may have changed something on their end that will require an update.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Open YouTube video
  2. Ensure these plugin options are activated:
  • YouTube is enabled
  • Activate Only in Fullscreen is enabled
  • Select aspect ration 21:9
  • Select Crop/Zoom

This is related to the system font size. I am currently running at 150%. When I have it set to 100%, this problem does not occur. However, I have had it set this way for a long time, and the issue only started recently. It affects other apps as well, so MS may have changed something on their end.

Thank's for your debugging. I wait for the next version of chrome/edge and if problem is persistent i try fix it with workaround.

Doesn't work on edge, stretches instead of crop.
