attachBackgroundHooks - chrome.alarms not created or not working and I don't know why

A question about src-bex/js/background-hooks.js

I tried this code:

When is it executed?

I cannot see any log !
I am using inspection of background page
What am I doing wrong?

Hi @realtebo have you tried to set alarms permission on manifest.json?

    "alarms"
  ]

I don't think background scripts can create alarms. At least that is what I have read in the firefox docs.
