Add character limit to prevent data loss

Problem:
When typing too much, the url becomes too long and the text can't be fully encoded anymore

Solution:
Add a character limit, or warn the user once the text becomes too long

From https://stackoverflow.com/a/417184/865175, it seems like:

• a limit of 8 000 characters is fairly compatible with the current browsers, and
• Cloudflare (which I'm currently using) has a limit of 32KB, which seems to convert to ~32 000 characters (https://www.flightpedia.org/convert/32-kilobytes-to-character.html).

Knowing these, I think that the safest (most compatible) limit would be the smallest one, which is 8 000 characters.
