Hey there,
Thanks for your feedback!
At the moment Surge is a proof of concept - so far from being feature complete. In the meantime, you can share channels in the 'old school fashion' by just telling people the channel name.

I'm sorry, but i don't understand this.
I tried this by creating Channel "Linux Distros" what you mentioned on Twitter, waited a couple of minutes but nothing appeared in the channel.

I'm using Surge portable v1.1.1 beta.

i suggest adding an option for sharing a channel name to a public master list, it will be removed from the master list if no one is currently online in it.

i also suggest adding a hash tripcode channel name function with salt to preserve private channels if the team decides to add the cool public master list i suggested.

It would be cool adding these features/enhancements.
