In order to get easier onboarding, some issues I encountered.

  • The handlebarstarter does not work. The code of the template file is case sensitive. Title should be title and Description should be description
  • The handlebarstarter does not work. The default editor should be the ckeditor instead of the old deprecated one
  • The Razorstarter does not work: throws an error when creating.
    Error in the log:
Er is een fout opgetreden bij het opslaan van het bestand http://www.openextensions.net/Portals/0/PropertyAgent/519/Files/21/RazorStarter.zip. Neem contact op met je provider om je ervan te verzekeren dat de juist bestandsrechten zijn toegepast op de server. - Template already exist RazorStarter

Are you using the v2 editor or the default "old" one?

@Tychodewaard Oh, I guess you downloaded these from http://www.openextensions.net/templates/open-content/handlebarsstarter?

@Timo-Breumelhof sorry for the late response, I did not get any notifications from github :-(
I think the default is the wysihtml and this should be CKeditor.

And yes, when selecting a template I choose 'from the web' and it pulls the templates from the location you mentioned

Hmm, that's weird. Normally that should get the files from Github and not OpenExtensions
