This is more likely to be a bug in the window manager and not the icon theme. It's displaying the wrong sized icon for whatever reason.

@snwh In window manager you mean GDM3 ?
Then how come this "bug" doesn't occur with ALL my other icon themes (I have more than a dozen) ?

Thanks!

How many of them have HiDPi icon support?

How can I check that ?
BTW all other mini-icons are fine it's just in the gnome-shell...

Which points to a bug in the Shell's window manager not the icon theme. An icon set's index.theme would have a whole section for @ 2x assets (which are the high DPI icons) like here: https://github.com/snwh/suru-icon-theme/blob/master/Suru/index.theme#L377

Alright than Sam.

The icon we are talking about the is bash.png (blue arrow)
How do I know which icon resolution is currently applied (my screen is at 1368x768 px) ?
Any workarounds ? can I redirect the gnome-shell to take a low dpi icon maybe from another icon theme ?

Couple more icon issue's please:

  1. I wanna change my default nemo file manager icon (green arrow) with Suru's file manager icon (red arrow) how can I do that ?

  1. The Bluetooth-off icon looks like coming from a different icon theme/pack
    bt_on-off_icons
The app used there is blueman-applet (I think that like Nemo it's derived from Linux Mint)
Again like in Nemo's case how can change that icon to match the current theme ?

Thanks A Lot !

You're using a Low DPI screen. It's still not something I can fix in the icon set.

  1. You can edit /usr/share/applications/nemo.desktop to use system-file-manager instead of whatever it is using for the icons.

  2. The Suru icons are not a universal icon set (like Moka or Paper, etc.) so it wouldn't have icons for the blueman applet.

I have 13.3-inch diagonal Radiance Full HD [33] Infinity LED-backlit touchscreen display (1920x1080)
That's ~166ppi is that considered a low DPI screen ? (I've checked and the glitch occurs on max resolution also).

  1. Great!
  2. Well I've found the "correct" BT on,off, paired icons in humanity icon theme (with 16 and 24 pix)

Can I blend them in Suru ? I can only guess it will be 16x16 in Suru as well

Thanks!!
