Focusing my Full-Stack Engineering expertise on transforming communities, I champion accessible technology through innovative open-source solutions. As the Oceanic Representative for the Python Software Foundation's Diversity & Inclusion Working Group, I combine personal experience with neurodiversity and a drive for change to create tools and solutions that help everyone succeed, regardless of their challenges.

Technical Approach

My work focuses on developing innovative solutions that make programming education truly inclusive. By implementing intelligent systems and universal design principles, I create tools that adapt to diverse needs and learning styles. Community Impact

Having lead the development of critical infrastructure in one of Australia's most catastrophic bushfire-prone regions, I've created innovative solutions that save lives and foster community connection. The platform ensures emergency alerts reach residents even in zero mobile coverage areas, while seamlessly integrating local news, events, and essential services. This comprehensive approach transforms how rural communities stay informed, safe, and connected.

Leadership

I am a part of an active effort to unify Python communities across Australia and New Zealand, with plans to expand across the Oceanic region. Through monthly national and international meetings, I cultivate spaces where everyone feels empowered to contribute. By maintaining multiple communication channels, I ensure community members can engage in ways that work best for them, making technical leadership more accessible and inclusive.
