Hi @everyone,
Here is the GitHub "organisation" of The Sympa Community.
Currently, this organisation has 20 members including you. You can see who the members are in the People menu.
What are members?
Members are the people who lead the running of the community. Currently, only members can do the tasks including following.
Attaching labels and milestones to issues and pull requests.
(Submitting issues and pull requests are possible by anyone.)
Maintaining labels and milestones.
Merging pull requests.
Pushing commits directly to the repository.
(This can be somewhat risky, so in time it may be allowed only by limited people.)
Members are expected to routinely perform these tasks to the extent that they are able, with agreement of the other members, so that they will sustain the community.
In addition, members can read and write "everyone" team discussions, but not other users. The use of team discussions should be kept to a minimum and necessary discussions should be held as much as possible in public (issues, pull requests and discussions in the respective repositories if any).
Learn about GitHub
Currently, development of Sympa relies heavily on GitHub functionalities, so if you are unfamiliar with GitHub, take a look at the GitHub Docs (of course, it is also useful for those familiar with GitHub).
By using GitHub, let's run the Community and make Sympa a better software.
