Being part of the target audience, I couldn't help but contribute to this repository of "state-of-the-art shitcode." While checking the README.md, I noticed that there was no mention of AI and chatbots.
In a world where even the most code-illiterate individuals can now generate "working" code (and I use that term very loosely), it felt only right to add some new principles that embrace the chaos and absurdity of AI-driven development. I mean, since we're talking about epic shitcode you cannot not include AI, right?
As someone who relies heavily on the wisdom of chatbots and the magic of codegen, I'm excited to have this opportunity. It's not every day that a mere mortal like myself, armed with nothing but a vague understanding of programming concepts and a knack for crafting prompts, finds a repository and thinks:
"Should I do a PR 🤔".
That being said, you absolutely must include a section on AI-generated shitcode principles that celebrate the future of software development – a future where the machines do the heavy lifting, and we humans just sit back and let others deal with the chaos they create.
You can find these principles in the linked pull request
May these principles serve as a guiding light for all AI-assisted programmers out there, bravely navigating the uncharted waters of machine-generated code. I am almost certain that I am not the only one.
Together, we can take shitcode to new heights and boldly go where no human programmer has gone before!
