ccpotentiometer change controller number

Hello all
following everything here i have managed to built a few controllers regarding light and audio control.
I had to ask for some help about ccpotentiometer for controlling qlc+ xypad.
I have build a ps2 trackpad witch gives me two analog outputs.
I feed them to an arduino A0 and A1.
Using the ccpotentiometer class for each one i get values to the software with very good response.
The issue is that qlc+ accepts controller number and the value.
it does not reqognize the channel number.
So my question is if it is possible to change the default controller (7) to any number i want in any of the potentiometers.
But if there is a way to make it work please advise.

after some digging i found a way to do it using this class:
CCPotentiometer pot(0, {0x06, CHANNEL_1, CABLE_1});
it works ok
