Can't set "font-size" in index.styl #424

I wrote something in index.styl, as follows

.content {
  font-size: 40px;
}

but it's noneffective, my blog's font size is the same as before.

Can you explain to me why? and I want to know how to configure font size in my blog...

I hope you can give me an answer.
