Determining whether or not you are (already) running in HighDPI mode

Dear community and authors of the application,

i'm using a M2 Pro and Dell U4025QW monitor. In another forum i have read that this combination requires the usage for this app to enable a better image via highDPI mode. However, as far as i can tell it works out the box.
It the settings.app display options looks like this, then i am already using highDPI mode, correct?
