Hmm. There should not be real difference between an Intel and M1 mac with a Full HD display (both should look somewhat blurry). The only exception if the Intel mac uses an older version of macOS (pre-Mojave) that still has subpixel antialiasing built in which made things look much better on low resolution LCD displays. You can improve the appearance somewhat if you enable native smooth scaling and set the resolution to 99% via the BetterDummy slider as this will create a 2x supersampled desktop and things will look somewhat antialiased - but this still does not make things look as good as on Windows (or you might actually find the end result more blurry as some people do). |

Hi! For work my company gave me a Macbook Pro 13 M1. At home I use Better Dummy to take advantage of my 27-inch 1080p HiDPI 1440p monitor and thus have all the larger elements (my eyes thank you, unfortunately it's not as sharp as on Windows but still usable).
The problem is that we use a 24-inch Dell 1080p monitor in the office. My colleagues use it with no problems with their Intel-based MacBooks while I see very blurry characters.
How do you advise me to configure Better Dummy for this full hd monitor?
Thanks
