During this hack, students will be introduced to talent teams from American Airlines and partners to learn about internships and full-time positions that will start in May 2021. This is a great opportunity for students to get to know about each company's culture, opportunities, and mentorship programs.

Help us elevate the customer travel experience, boost operational efficiences and employee performance (baggage handling, gate agents, etc.), or enhance American's brand image with your innovative hacks!
Imagine Travel 2.0: design and build new apps to improve the future travel experience for our customers, our employees, or both.
- How might the customer experience improve while considering ongoing or future pandemics?
- Which new Partner technologies can be used to make a more seamless future travel experience?
- How can the solution impact the greatest number of customers and/or our employees?
Attendees and hacks must adhere to all event rules and policies. We reserve the right to perform a technical inspection for any hack.
- Purpose - Does your app solve a problem for travelers and/or airline employees?
- Look and Feel - Was your app designed well? Is it intuitive?
- Functionality - Does your app actually work?
- Partner Tech - Does your app integrate with partner technology? (Try to include at least ONE partner API/Service/SDK or use our Flight Engine API)
Each team member (max 5) will receive prizes according to the following:
- 1st Place = 100,000 AAdvantage Miles (PER team member; up to 500K for the team)
- 2nd Place = 75,000 AAdvantage Miles (PER team member; up to 375K for the team)
- 3rd Place = 50,000 AAdvantage Miles (PER team member; up to 250K for the team)
