Panel Options

  • Input Type; the option to generated from audio or image file

Image

  • Image Input; the option to have a sequence of images, or a single image
  • Image to Convert; this is the image that will determine the height of the mesh
  • Load Image; if the image you want to use isn't currently loaded, then load it through this

-If Image Sequence-

1. **Max Number Of Image**; up to this number of images will be used in the animation
2. **Image Step**; the size of step the program will take when using images, etc. 1 = use every image, 2 = use every other
3. **Frame Step Size**; the size of step the program will take when inserting key frames, etc. 1 = image every frame, 2 = image every two frames
  • Skip # Pixels; this will place a block/point, then skip this number of pixels, then place another block/point and repeat. The purpose is to allow more control of the look of the image and to keep the block/point count in check on high-res images

  • Size Per 100 Blocks/Points; how much space 100 blocks or points will take up

  • Height Scale; basically how much the different heights vary, lower number equals less variance

  • Invert Height; makes white become lowest height not highest

  • Mesh Type; determines whether the object is made up of many blocks, or of a single plane

  • Block Style; determines whether block changes height or position

  • Material

    1. Vertex Colors; the colors at each point used for each block is directly used for the materials
    2. Image; the object uses an image to color each point
  • Use Original Image Colors?; determines whether or not a separate images are used for generating the image and coloring the image

    1. Image To Use For Colors; use this image to color mesh instead of Image To Convert
    2. Load Color Image; load a new image to use for Image To Use For Colors
  • Advanced Options

    1. Random Weights?; determines whether the RGBA channels are weighted using randomly generated numbers, if not then each channel can be manually adjusted.

Audio

  • Audio File; audio file to convert

  • Minimum Frequency; the lowest frequency to use

  • Maximum Frequency; the highest frequency to use

  • Offset Type; subsequent rows vary either in the frequency they use, or in time

  • Block Layout; arrange blocks in rectangle or circle

  • Width Block Count; number of rows

  • Length Block Count; number of columns

  • Size Per 100 Blocks/Points; size of 100 blocks

  • Material; either vertex colors or use an image for block colors

    1. If image, then same options as creating from image
  • Image To Use For Colors; use this image to color mesh instead of Image To Convert

  • Load Color Image; load a new image to use for Image To Use For Colors
