No idea why, going to chalk this up to all JavaScript frameworks being just garbage. Error message was also useless in trying to figure out why this causes a problem, as usual.
Mainly doing this because Mozilla, of course, has fallen behind on implementing things that every other browser (including Safari!) already has. There is not enough skinning support for the scrollbar at the time of writing this, so I have to rely on a third-party package to do the work Mozilla refuses to do, sadly.
Whether it wants to or not, it needs to respect the layering so the selector properly appears under it. Apparently marking these as important in Tailwind is simply not enough.
