so Qt6.8 is making my whole application crash.....

I guess i'm on Ubuntu 24.10.....

hmm it doesn't seem to be related to Ubuntu 24.10. It seems to be happening on 24.04 as well.

Of course things like a simple widget don’t crash.

Will have to continue to investigate. But I would appreciate if somebody else could corroborate or refute my findings with an application of theirs

In either case. This should be skipped because according to Qt

The Qt version 6.8 series is binary compatible with the 6.7.x series. Applications compiled for 6.7 will continue to run with 6.8.

So i'm happy to report that my application doesn't crash anymore.

Does anybody want to give pyside6 6.8.0 (the latest build) a try and confirm?
