### Can I use special characters in my URLs?

To use special characters (`!@#$%^&*`) in your URLs for user/passwords, you will have to use URL encoding for ONLY the portion of the URL containing the special characters.

For instance, if your user or password contains a special character `#`, you will need to go to [URLEncoder.org](https://www.urlencoder.org/) and encode **THIS PORTION OF YOUR URL ONLY** - and then place this in the appropriate place in the URL in your config file.
