The ____ system works will create a printable schedule of a work week. Various options can be set using the icalConfig file. icalConfig file The icalConfig file is read when the system start up. It sets a variery of options. The format of this is detailed below. The general format is nameOfField = value START_OF_DAY: The START_OF_DAY field indicates at what time a work day begins. Events that end before this will not be displayed. If an event begins before this time but ends after it will be displayed, however the box representing that event will begin where the box for an event starting at START_OF_DAY would begin. The format of the value is hh:mm (hour: minute) where hour is a value 0-23, and minute is a value 0-59 END_OF_DAY: The endOfDay field indicates at what time a work day ends. Events begin after this time will not be displayed. If an event begins before this time, but ends afterwords the event will be displayed, however the box representing the event will ends where the box for and event ending at endOfDay would end. The format of the value is hh:mm(hour:minute) where hour is a value 0-23 and minute is a value 0-59 TWENTY_FOUR_HOUR: the TWENTY_FOUR_HOUR field controls the format of time strings. It can have two values, FALSE or TRUE. If twentyFourHr = FALSE then time strings are formatted using twelve hour time(midnight and noon are 12). If TWENTY_FOUR_HOUR = TRUE then time strings are formated using twenty four hour clocks(0 is midnight) FIRST_DAY: The FIRST_DAY field indicates which day of the week is considered to be the first day of the work week. That day will be displayed as the leftmost day in the printed output. it can have the following values SUNDAY, MONDAY, TUESDAY, WEDNESDAY, THURSDAY, FRIDAY, or SATURDAY LAST_DAY: The LAST_DAY field indicates which day of the week is considered to be the last day of the work week. That day will be displayed as the rightmost day in the printed output. It can have the following values SUNDAY, MONDAY, TUESDAY, WEDNESDAY, THURSDAY, FRIDAY, or SATURDAY OUTPUT_FILE The OUTPUT_FILE field indicates what the output file should be named. It can be any string upto 99 characters long, but must not include any whitespace TIME_FONT: The timeFont field indicates which font should be used when writing out the times during which an event occurs. It can have the following values: FONT_A or FONT_B SUMMARY_FONT: The SUMMARY_FONT field indicates which font should be used when writing out the summary of an event(most typically the name of the event). It can have the following values: FONT_A or FONT_B LOCATION_FONT: The LOCATION_FONT field indicates which font should be used when writing out the location of an event. It can have the following values: FONT_A or FONT_B FONT_COLOR: The FONT_COLOR field indicates what color text should be. It have the following values: CLEAR, RED, ORANGE, YELLOW, GREEN, BLUE, PURPLE, or BLACK BOX_COLOR: The BOX_COLOR field indicates what color an event box should be. It can have the following values: CLEAR, RED, ORANGE, YELLOW, GREEN, BLUE, PURPLE, or BLACK RULES The TIME_FONT, SUMMARY_FONT, LOCATION_FONT, FONT_COLOR, and BOX_COLOR fields all set default values for how events are displayed. In addition to that it is possible to set these values to be different for different events. This is done using a rule. A rule is a single line (begining with "Rule") that has the following format: Rule antecedentField = "antecedentValue" : consequentField = consequentValue antecedentField: The antecedentField can be SUMMARY, LOCATION, or TIME antecedentValue: A string enclosed with quotes consequentField: The consequentField can be BOX_COLOR, TEXT_COLOR, TIME_FONT, SUMMARY_FONT, or LOCATION_FONT consequentValue: The consequent value is any of the appropriate options depending upon the consequent field. For example if the consequent field was BOX_COLOR then the consequentValue could be CLEAR, RED, ORANGE, YELLOW, GREEN, BLUE, PURPLE, or BLACK For each event the rule is tested. If the antecedent field for an event has the value antecedentValue then that event has its consequentField set to be consequentValue For example: The rule Rule SUMMARY = "Lunch" : BOX_COLOR = BLUE Wold have all events that have the summary "Lunch" be displayed in a blue box regardless of what the BOX_COLOR was set as.
