5.5.1 works well on the Azure Public cloud, and contains some nice features, including a feature that addresses the race condition where tasks finish but Cromwell can't see the task output files.

Important Genomics Samples Notes

/datasettestinputs/... and /datasettestinputssouthc/... (from samples and examples) are no longer mounted for Cromwell due to a requirement to remove support for the SAS token previously provided. Those samples will instead need to use HTTPS URLs instead. However, WDL functions that access input files outside of containerized tasks (such as file length utilities) will fail as a result. We are investigating possible solutions.

Important Kubernetes Configuration Notes

With this release, Kubernetes is using Azure RBAC for Kubernetes Authorization. If you get an error indicating missing permissions when accessing workloads or other features of the cluster, try adding one of the built-in roles from the link and trying again (after it's had time to propagate).
