Over the past few months, I've become a power user of Cursor. While an extremely powerful tool, I've found that having the right prompt is half the battle.

Inside this repo, you'll find both the rules I have setup on the Cursor settings page (Rules for AI), and rules setup on a per project basis (your .cursorrules file - I use Next.js, so these are tailored to that). Be sure to take a quick scan of both to make sure you don't need to modify anything about your stack/workflow.

Please feel free to provide feedback or ask questions in issues. While my personal rules have been working great for months, I'm still experimenting a bit with project rules; right now, they are quite similar to a readme, and it actually seems to be working pretty well. If you'd like to add your own rules or modify mine for your language of choice, feel free to open a PR!
