I've been working on Open Source Software since 2012. For a few years I'm working full-time on open source software. I'm mostly known for starting the webpack project in 2012 and maintaining it since then.

Why looking for Sponsors on Github?

My work on webpack is funded by it's own open collective, but I may like to work on other topics too. So if you like my work in general please consider sponsoring me personally too, so I can also work on topics of my choice.

I want to minimize the personal risk for me and my family. Working on webpack with Open Collective works great, but what if webpack sponsors vanish and the project dies. I don't hope this happens, but to minimize the risk I want to save a bit of the money sponsored here to continue working/living when other sources no longer work.

I don't do consulting work, but still want to give you the opportunity to get some consulting-like benefits. Keep in mind that this is not a consulting contract, but mostly sponsoring with a little "gimme" on top. I believe in spending most of my time in a way that benefits everyone.

What do you get?

I won't be able to promise you anything. I try to fulfill all tiers with best intentions, but please don't see sponsoring as contract. Unexpected events can happen and I may not be able to do what I promised.
