(Deprecated) Create Web of Science Search Alert

Create a Web of Science account

• You can only do it while at OSU's Web of Science page:
• Go to https://guides.library.oregonstate.edu/az.php
• Click 'Web of Science' and you will be redirect to OSU's Web of Science page (use VPN if you are off campus)
• Click 'Sign In' then 'Register' in the pop-up
• The account will be your 'personal' and you can create search alerts after login

Advanced Search

• Click 'Advanced Search' at the home page after login
• OG=(Oregon State University OR Oregon State University Cascades) Restrict results by: "English" and "Article" Timespace: Last 4 weeks
• Click 'Search'
• Verify the result by clicking the number under Results column in 'Search History'

Create Search Alert

• Click 'Sav History/Create Alert' at the 'Search History' page
• A sample search alert is attach below
• Renew alert every six months
